Millions and millions of moments. This represents the accumulated time donated by tens of thousands of club volunteers to building 30,000 kilometres of recreational snowmobile trails metre by metre since founding the not-for-profit Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) in 1967.

An OFSC Volunteer Contribution Survey indicated that OFSC volunteers contributed nearly 479,779 total volunteer hours to snowmobiling in Ontario in 2022/23. The monetary equivalent of these total volunteer hours in 2022/23 is an estimated $16.4 million. That equates to millions of moments and millions of dollars of donated volunteer time over the past 55 years.

“Every minute of volunteer time deserves our recognition and appreciation,” said Ryan Eickmeier, OFSC CEO. “Without volunteers, Ontario’s premier winter tourism activity simply wouldn’t exist. Thank you to one and all.”

That’s a wrap folks! We know Mother Nature had her share of challenges this year, but we did what we could with what we got! Still had plenty of smiles, our ride the north poker run still managed to be a success, and we got to spend time with the community and multiple events! Thank you to all of our sponsors and volunteers!!! We definitely couldn’t do it without you!!!! Ride safe, enjoy the off season, and we’ll see you next season!!! It’s going to be a great one!! I can feel it!!! ... See MoreSee Less

O km this season. 2 passes not used once 🙁

Looking for information!! This is a painted map of Northern Ontario, Canada. Pre 1970's. I think it's pretty unique and we have used it to find some of the cool places that are highlighted, such as Moose Mountain.
Has anyone ever seen this map before or know who the artist is?

Cool map! Our camp is at Moose Mountain!

Many areas in Ontario just received snow, but that doesn't mean trails are ready to ride yet. Volunteers are working their magic to make them available as conditions allow.

BEFORE YOU GO, always check the OFSC Interactive Trail Guide (ITG) for the latest trail status before riding any OFSC trail and do not enter any OFSC trail showing RED.

Just like us, many of you would like to start snowmobiling asap but there is a lot more to re opening the trails than just receiving this new snow. The unseasonably mild weather has unfortunately put us back to the start of the season. Our club volunteers will be out assessing the conditions so keep looking at the ITG for updates. We are not writing off the season just yet! ... See MoreSee Less

Congratulations to all the winners and to the clubs for hosting a successful fundraising event! Too bad mother nature was against you guys this year… But I’m very proud to be part of such a generous snowmobiling community!! Keep up the great work teams! 💜

Was supposed to be up there from southwestern Ontario this weekend to the Poker run but obviously mother nature had other plans. Glad you guys were able to still have a successful day. Hopefully see ya next year.

Great job 👏

Well done. Congrats to all the winners 🙂

Great job, congratulations!!!
